First, a big congratulations to Faith B. for winning last week’s contest for a free School Sparks workbook!
Second, let’s give away another one!
Entering this week’s giveaway is super simple! All you need is an email account and at least one friend or relative to send an email too. (Finally, a contest for all my followers who aren’t on Facebook!) To enter this week’s giveaway, send an email to one friend, colleague or family member (or twenty friends, colleagues or family members) introducing them to School Sparks. You can email them about our nearly 1,000 free worksheets at www.schoolsparks.com/kindergarten-worksheets, our free kindergarten readiness test at www.schoolsparks.com/kindergarten-readiness-test, or about our amazing workbook at www.schoolsparks.com/store. Share with your friends, colleagues or family members why you love School Sparks and why you think they would enjoy it too.
If I was going to enter, I’d send my friends an email like this:
“I know you’ve got little kids at home and I figured if your kids are anything like mine, they would love the free worksheets I’ve found on a website called School Sparks. The site is www.schoolsparks.com/kindergarten-worksheets and they have nearly 1,000 different worksheets (all FREE!) in a bunch of different areas like letter tracing, addition, listening skills, holidays, and a lot more that are all designed to help kids prepare to start kindergarten or first grade. Everything on the site is free so you can just print a worksheet or two each day to try with your son. My son Dylan loves doing the worksheets right after breakfast—he calls them “homework” and never stops after completing just one. I hope you and your kids love them as much as I do. (Also, if you head over to their website right now, they’re doing a giveaway for a free workbook with 460+ color worksheets so you can enter that, too!)”
Guess what! You get 1 entry for each person you email! So after you send out your emails, just come back to this blog post and leave me a comment telling me how many people you emailed and why you think your friends are going to love School Sparks. (Be sure to either leave your email address in your comment or make sure your name links to your email address so I can contact you if you win.) Next Tuesday I’ll randomly select a winner. (I apologize in advance to all of my international friends. I adore each and every one of you but I cannot currently ship the workbook outside of the continental U.S. The workbook is available for purchase and international shipping through amazon.com right now, though, so head over to the School Sparks website if you want to buy a copy of the workbook and have it shipped somewhere outside the U.S.) Each giveaway will run from 12pm CST on Wednesday to 8pm CST on Tuesday. I’ll announce the winner on Wednesday and the same day I’ll start the giveaway for the next week.
Just a little information for those who may not be familiar with the School Sparks workbook, the workbook includes over 460 of School Sparks’ most popular worksheets, over 400 activity suggestions to accelerate skill development, plus a suggested daily schedule that outlines how to most effectively work with your child in less than one hour a day. Also, the worksheets are printed in full color on perforated pages for easy tear out.
Good luck, everyone!
